When we reglaze a sink, our technician starts by using a special decontaminate to remove
any residue that has built up over the years. After the sink is cleaned, the technician will prepare the entire
room, covering the floor and walls around the sink to make sure there is no chance of overspray. He will
then apply a special undercoat both for adhesion and it has a rust inhibitor in it so it actually adds length to
the life of the bathtub. Next 3 to 5 coats of a special synthetic porcelain* is applied to the surface of the
sink.
